What To Expect

 Your 1st visit will involve a medical questionnaire followed by a detailed case history about your complaint. A physical exam is then carried out which involves a postural assessment, some general movements and specific tests. If it is appropriate and time permitting, treatment will commence. Please note that not every individual will be able to receive treatment and in these circumstances you will be referred to your GP or an appropriate practitioner.

It may be necessary for patients to undress down to their underwear, so please ensure appropriate undergarments are worn.

The treatment is a combination of hands on manual therapy and remedial exercises. Home exercises are also prescribed to facilitate the clinical treatment.

The General Sports/Deep tissue massage is a treatment that involves working on the deeper muscles to promote blood flow, relaxation and recovery from or preparation for a sporting event to name a few.
